About The Position

Business Development Coordinator - Healthcare/Home Care Nurse Next Door Central Vally & Bay - Modesto, CA Compensation: $45,000 - $55,000 base salary + uncapped commission (OTE: $65K - $85K+) Employment Type: Full-Time Benefits: Company vehicle, laptop, cell phone, mileage reimbursement, marketing budget ABOUT US: Nurse Next Door is a leading private duty non-medical home care agency serving six counties in the Central Valley and Bay Area. Requirements

  • You genuinely enjoy meeting new people and building relationships
  • You're comfortable walking into a facility and introducing yourself confidently

  • You're organized and can manage multiple relationships simultaneously
  • You're coachable and open to learning proven marketing strategies
  • You have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
  • You're comfortable with technology (CRM, email, GPS, smartphone apps)
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Reliable transportation for daily facility visits

  • Ability to pass background check

  • Availability to attend some evening networking events

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in healthcare, senior living, or relationship-based sales
  • Familiarity with skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, or assisted living communities
  • Previous roles in community outreach, business development, or account management
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, or VA benefits (helpful but we'll train you)

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with discharge planners, case managers, social workers, and administrators at skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, and assisted living communities
  • Conduct 10-15 facility visits per week to introduce our services and support patient discharge needs
  • Attend healthcare networking events, community functions, and professional meetings
  • Coordinate lunch-and-learns, educational presentations, and facility tours
  • Partner with complementary healthcare providers (physical therapy, home health agencies, hospice) to create dual-discharge programs
  • Track all activities, referrals, and relationship development in our CRM system
  • Work closely with our care coordination team to ensure seamless client onboarding
