About The Position

Fort Lauderdale Behavioral Health Center, a subsidiary of UHS, is a beautiful, conveniently located, private 182-bed hospital that specializes in the treatment of drug addiction, mental health issues and concurrent disorders for adults as well as adolescents. Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a behavioral health area, marketing, business administration or related field is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) required or equivalent.
• Minimum of (2) years experience in health care business development/marketing environment with measurable business development results, and a knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment principles preferred.
• Must have valid Driver’s License.
• Knowledge of basic community and business development concepts.
• Ability to interpret and communicate data from statistical reports.
• Knowledge of key internal/external health-care environments.
• Demonstrates superior customer service skills to external and internal customers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to meet corporate deadlines, and skill in organizing and prioritizing workloads to meet deadlines.
• Ability to multi-task between accounts and/or referral sources.
• Sensitive and aware of diverse cultures and their practices.
