About The Position

Palo Verde Behavioral Health is looking for an experienced Business Development Professional! Come join our team! The Bus Dev Coord/Rep directly serves as the liaison between the facility, the community, and referring agencies. This position is directly responsible for creating demand for the facility’s services through the effective application of ethical marketing principles and sales methods. In collaboration with the Director of Business Development and Business Development Team, the Bus Dev Coord/Rep presents a positive and professional public image of the facility within the community. This position is responsible for the implementation of the facility’s strategic sales plan, enhancing the facility’s brand/image, effectively managing their assigned territory and accounts, and works to achieve departmental and facility business development goals. This individual must be able to demonstrate tact, resourcefulness, patience and dedication in a fast-paced environment. Hours are based on departmental and facility needs and may include day, evening and weekend hours, as directed by the Director of Business Development. Palo Verde Behavioral Health Hospital provides comprehensive behavioral healthcare for children, adolescents, adults, and senior adults suffering from mental health and addictive illnesses. PVBH is an 84-bed, short-term, acute care hospital offering inpatient, partial and intensive outpatient hospitalization, as well as specialized treatment programs for chemical dependency. PVBH has an excellent reputation as an innovative hospital with caring, dedicated staff, experienced in the delivery of behavioral healthcare. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field required. Experience may be evaluated on a case-by-case basis in lieu of a degree.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record and willingness/availability to travel within the state of Arizona in personal vehicle.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and must be able to obtain and maintain an AZ Class 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  • Must be tested for Tuberculosis with a PPD skin test or chest x-ray upon hire; PPD skin test required annually or chest x-ray every 4 years thereafter.
  • Must obtain and maintain a Class 1 Arizona Fingerprint Clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Prior marketing and/or sales experience within a behavioral healthcare setting preferred.
  • Three years minimum documented experience in referral development, account management, sales growth, and physician relationships preferred.
