About The Position

Local retail group is looking for a territory Business Development Consultant to handle the Madera / Modesto area, essentially most of the Northern Central Valley. Job would entail working from the road and your personal vehicle. You will be equipped with a cell phone, laptop and mobile printer. Each of the devices have GPS and your job will track you from location to location as you visit different stores in this area to do quality and compliance audits. Audits would include food safety inspections, customer service reviews, marketing material and promotion auditing, then providing training afterward on areas that need to improve. Proper writing skills is a must in order to be successful in compiling these reports that are sent not only to the location manager but also the corporate office of the entire organization. Prior background in training, teaching, food safety or customer service is ideal. Must be able to travel 100% of the time and be responsible in reporting each location timely. Job will not require any overnight travel so when traveling a few hours from home you have to be prepared to return from work sometimes in the evening.
