About The Position

We are looking for a Business Development Consultant to drive strategic growth within the Life Sciences industry in the US market, with a focus on Salesforce Cloud and Veeva implementation services. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device companies, helping them navigate digital transformation initiatives across CRM, commercial operations, and regulated life sciences platforms. You will combine business development, solution consulting, and domain expertise in Life Sciences technology ecosystems to support complex enterprise deals.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, solution consulting, or presales
  • Strong experience in IT services or enterprise software consulting
  • Proven exposure to Life Sciences industry (pharma, biotech, medical devices)
  • Experience with Salesforce (preferably Health/Life Sciences Cloud) and/or Veeva platforms
  • Understanding of Life Sciences commercial processes (CRM, HCP engagement, compliance workflows)
  • Ability to lead complex consultative discussions with enterprise stakeholders
  • Strong presentation, communication, and storytelling skills
  • Experience working with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Analytical mindset with ability to translate business requirements into solution architecture

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the Life Sciences sector (pharma, biotech, medtech)
  • Drive consultative engagements around Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud and Veeva implementations
  • Engage with enterprise stakeholders (Commercial, IT, Medical Affairs, Digital Transformation teams)
  • Lead discovery sessions to understand business processes, compliance needs, and system landscape
  • Collaborate with Salesforce/Veeva architects, pre-sales, and delivery teams to shape tailored solutions
  • Support end-to-end sales cycles: discovery → solution design → proposal → deal closure support
  • Contribute to RFP/RFI responses for regulated enterprise environments
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders (C-level, VP, Director level)
  • Stay updated on Life Sciences digital trends, regulatory requirements, and ecosystem innovations
