About The Position

The Business Development Center (BDC) Representative plays a critical role in engaging and facilitating customer interactions through our virtual showroom. The primary goal is to influence and increase the number of appointments set, shown, sold, and delivered from our various online and digital sources. This individual will also contribute to the continued growth and development of the BDC team across the Vision Auto Group.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in automotive BDC, sales, or customer service preferred but not required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer literacy and comfort navigating multiple systems simultaneously.
  • High attention to detail, organization, and follow-up.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Professional demeanor with a genuine desire to help customers.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly, courteously, and professionally to all customer inquiries received through digital channels, phone, text, and email.
  • Adhere to our follow-up process to maximize engagement, ensuring each customer receives personalized and effective communication.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all customer interactions, appointments, and follow-ups.
  • Partner closely with the in-house sales and management teams to ensure a seamless transition from virtual inquiry to in-store experience.
  • Monitor and follow up on unsold leads, past customers, and service-to-sales opportunities.
  • Escalate any customer concerns, unusual situations, or negative feedback to management immediately to ensure timely resolution.
  • Maintain an active understanding of our software tools and adapt to process or technology updates that enhance team efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Consistently meet or exceed established performance metrics related to appointment setting, show rate, and sold/delivered vehicles.
  • Contribute to a team-oriented, professional, and positive work environment, supporting the Vision Auto Group’s culture of customer care and continuous improvement.
