Position Description: ELOS is in need of an experienced and motivated Business Development professional to provide direction for marketing initiatives, coordinate bid opportunity pursuits, and create long-term strategies for obtaining new work and clients. The main goal of this role is to maximize efficiency in bid opportunity pursuit and drive growth to positively impact the workflow for the company by creating, maintaining, and managing client relationships and identifying new projects to pursue. The ideal candidate should possess a mix of technical skills, communication skills, networking skills, and resource management skills and possess a strong network of vendors, contractors, clients, managers, engineers and designers. Furthermore, the successful candidate must be highly motivated, innovative, aware of business opportunities and potential/actual competitors’ capabilities, and be adept at collaborating with potential partners to create successful business relationships with partner companies and clients. Due to the fast-paced nature of consulting, ELOS often pursues multiple projects simultaneously; because of this, the applicant must have excellent organizational and prioritization skills, as well as the ability to multitask.
