About The Position

Business Development Associates play a key role in building strategic partnerships with Post-Acute and Long-Term Care facilities and identifying new business opportunities through strong, relationship-driven outreach. This role collaborates closely with the Business Development team, Provider Operations, and Clinical Support teams to drive growth and achieve organizational objectives.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in business development, healthcare, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience serving in a liaison or similar relationship-management role.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of business management practices and core operational principles.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrates a high degree of personal accountability and professionalism.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of at least the minimum state-required automobile liability insurance.

  • A bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, healthcare or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Develops a strong understanding of Oak Medical’s care model and how we add value to our Post Acute and Long-Term Care Communities.
  • Builds relationships with current and future partners in your assigned territory and identify how Oak Medical can support their facility.
  • Evaluates and identifies business opportunities in the market.
  • Maintains business contacts with current and future partners through site visits, emails, phone calls, etc.
  • Serves as a liaison between facility staff members and Oak Medical team members.
  • Provides support/training for communication platform.
  • Attends, sets up displays and represents Oak Medical’s care model at vendor events.
  • Partners with other members of the business development team in the creation and implementation of operational and strategic marketing.
  • Reports progress to the director of business development during regular team check-ins.
  • Demonstrates strong work ethic, organization, teamwork and passion.
  • Weekly travel within territory, averaging 10% overnight.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
