Business Development and Facilities Specialist

Metro Vein CentersNew York, NY
2d$60,000 - $65,000Remote

About The Position

Metro Vein Centers is a rapidly growing healthcare practice specializing in state-of-the-art vein treatments. Our board-certified physicians and expert staff are on a mission to improve people’s quality of life by relieving the painful, yet highly treatable symptoms of vein disease—such as varicose veins and heavy, aching legs. With over 60 clinics across 7 states, and still growing, we’re building the future of vein care—delivering compassionate, results-driven care in a modern, patient-first environment. We proudly maintain a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 93, the highest patient satisfaction in the industry. We are looking for a high-energy, "jack-of-all-trades" professional to serve as the backbone of our clinic operations. This unique role blends Facilities Management with Business Development clinic openings. One week, you might be coordinating an HVAC repair with a local vendor in Texas; the next, you'll be on-site in a brand-new market, unboxing furniture and building out the clinic to get us ready for opening day. If you are someone who loves solving puzzles, working with your hands, and seeing a project through from an empty shell to a fully functioning medical office, we want to talk to you.

Requirements

  • Willingness to Travel: Frequent overnight travel across our 7-state footprint (and future expansion areas) is required.
  • Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and spend long days on your feet during clinic builds.
  • Valid Driver's License: A current, valid driver's license is required. This role involves frequent driving to clinic sites, vendor locations, and supply pickups. Travel is conducted via rental car, with all rental and fuel costs covered by the company.

Nice To Haves

  • The Fix-It Gene: You have a solid understanding — or willingness to learn — of basic trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.). You aren't afraid to get your hands dirty.
  • Tech Savvy: You're comfortable setting up hardware, troubleshooting Wi-Fi, and mounting cameras.
  • Project Management Skills: You can manage multiple moving parts across different time zones without dropping the ball.
  • Independence: Since you'll be on the road frequently, you must be a self-starter who can work efficiently without someone looking over your shoulder.
  • Communication: You can speak with a plumber and with MVC leadership with equal ease.

Responsibilities

  • On-Site Setup: Travel to new clinic locations to lead the physical prep for the opening day of a new clinic.
  • Assembly & Installation: Build out office furniture, exam room equipment, and shelving.
  • Tech Integration: Set up basic IT infrastructure, including computers, monitors, and security cameras.
  • Logistics: Coordinate the delivery of supplies and equipment to ensure everything arrives on time for the launch.
  • Rapid Response: Act as the primary point of contact for facility emergencies across 7+ states (plumbing leaks, HVAC outages, electrical issues).
  • Vendor Management: Source, vet, and oversee local vendors.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Implement and oversee a schedule to keep our existing clinics in like-new condition.
  • Troubleshooting: Virtually or physically diagnose issues to determine if a simple fix is possible or if a specialist is required.
