The Hoplite Group, a Veteran-Owned Small Business specializing in defense-oriented solutions, is seeking a Business Development and Capture Director. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of winning 'butts in seats' oriented contracts supporting the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), its Service (i.e. USASOC/AFSOC, etc.), Theater components (i.e. SOCCENT, SOCEUR, etc.), or JSOC. More specifically, a candidate must have a strong track record of pursuing contracts that involve staffing contracts focused on intelligence, information operations, planning and/or mission support full-time equivalent positions. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong experience in operational contract opportunities with strong relationships in the government contracting space, particularly within the greater USSOCOM enterprise. Our preferred candidate has roughly mid-level experience in BD/Capture manager or associate manager but is hungry to make a jump to a Director position, and who is driven to turn qualified leads into opportunities, then shaped to proper capture strategies, then into exceptional proposals, and ultimately turn into winning bids.
