About The Position

Perimeter Behavioral of Springfield has a great opportunity for an experienced Healthcare Account Manager. Perimeter Behavioral of Springfield is hiring a Healthcare Account Manager who is willing to market in various areas of the Southwest Missouri area. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining referral sources and educating agencies about the mental health services offered by the facility. Also, being a liaison between the facility and the designated referral source as needed. Perimeter Behavioral of Springfield is one of the premier behavioral health hospitals providing inpatient psychiatric treatment for children and teenagers. Comprehensive care is designed for the individual, not the diagnosis. Requirements

  • BSN, or Master's degree in Human Services or Behavioral Health preferred
  • With 2 to 4 years working experience in sales and networking with healthcare referral sources
  • Experience developing marketing strategies and programs including referral development, intake, tracking advertising and public relations
  • Previous experience and knowledgeable of behavioral health residential and acute services
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Must have a valid driver license in the State of Missouri
  • Ability to travel daily within an assigned Missouri territory, with occasional overnight travel required.

Responsibilities

  • Inform, educate, and communicate program and services to Acute Behavioral Hospitals, Behavioral Health Clinicians, Professionals, Outpatient Centers, Human Services Agencies, Sister Facilities, and any additional resources that will help increase patient flow to our facilities.
  • Responsible for marketing the hospital services through daily contacts, building and maintaining accounts, develop and implement detailed market plans as needed.
  • Maintain referral source database to record daily, weekly, and monthly interactions with providers. Will have the responsibility of doing mobile assessments for referrals. Must understand how to generate reports from the system to compare trends for specific time periods.
  • Set-up and conduct education and networking events for professionals and patients.
  • Act as a liaison between the facilities regarding potential admissions and addressing concerns or questions from referral sources.
  • Completes weekly and monthly statistical reporting, develop facility specific business plans that will help maintain the Missouri's hospitals patient census and referral flow.
  • Work closely with Director of Business Development and CEO of each facility.
