About The Position

The Business Developer at Commercial Landscape Garden Design, Inc. is responsible for driving business growth by developing and nurturing client relationships within the landscaping construction industry. This role involves representing the company, generating orders, and ensuring customer satisfaction while overseeing project transitions from sales to production.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in landscaping construction.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, consulting, account management, or a similar client-relationship role.
• Familiarity with all aspects of the landscape industry, including sales, production, customer service, and estimating.
• Strong negotiation skills and excellent customer service abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Intermediate computer skills and organizational skills with a focus on details.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the construction commercial industry.
• Ability to meet with clients off-site as needed.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new relationships with Property Managers, Developers, Facility Directors, and other potential clients through networking.
• Respond promptly to inquiries and seek out potential clients to identify their needs for products and services.
• Serve as the interface between the company and clients to ensure customer satisfaction objectives are met.
• Execute presentations and proposals to clients, closing sales to generate revenue.
• Research and develop new concepts and ways to promote existing services.
• Forecast sales volume and profitability for assigned responsibilities, compiling statistics and completing reports as required.
