The Business Data Analyst position is a long-term opportunity with the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) in Austin, TX. The role involves reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business systems and user needs, formulating systems to align with overall business strategies, and applying business process reengineering to enhance effectiveness. The position requires familiarity with industry-standard business process mapping and reengineering, as well as preparing solution options, risk identification, and financial analyses such as cost/benefit and ROI. The candidate will also write detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and the steps required to develop or modify computer programs. This is a hybrid position, requiring 2 days remote work and 3 days onsite (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday).
