About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Business Data Analyst II for a fully onsite position located at either our Knoxville, TN or Manchester, PA warehouse. Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in business, logistics, mathematics, statistics, related field, or equivalent experience, required.
  • 0-2 years of analytics experience, required.

Responsibilities

  • Apply knowledge and analytics to develop and communicate timely, accurate, and actionable insights to the business through modeling, visualization, and optimization.
  • Report, analyze, and predict operational processes, performance, and Key Performance Indicators.
  • Communicate with site leadership, operations, and finance on efficiency, customer requirements, account-specific issues, and insights into the business and operations.
  • Use hindsight, insight, and foresight techniques to communicate complex findings and recommendations to influence action.
  • Discover and anticipate problems where data can be used to solve issues.
  • Provide ongoing analysis of operational activities using spreadsheets, databases, and relevant software.
  • Apply data visualization for timely insights to decrease Cycle Time to Action (CTA).
  • Assist site operations in identifying areas for improving service levels and reducing operational costs.
  • Support account start-up analysis and report implementation as needed.
  • Develop standardized and ad hoc site and/or customer reporting.
  • Streamline and automate internal and external reporting processes.
  • Investigate and recommend new technologies and information systems.
  • Conduct feasibility analyses on processes and equipment to increase operational efficiency.
  • Partner with Finance to develop financial models for productivity and payroll analysis; calculate cost benefits and business impact and propose solutions.
  • Develop predictive models to aid decision-making.
  • Design, develop, and implement data gathering and reporting methods and procedures for Operations.
  • Track, plan, analyze, and forecast storage capacities, inventory levels, equipment, and labor requirements.
  • Coordinate with Operations Systems group to address and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with ILD group on modeling customer solutions, providing data and insights for customer pursuits.
  • Assist finance and senior leadership in modeling yearly labor budgets based on operational and profile changes.
