About The Position

Extracts knowledge and insights from high volume, high dimensional data in order to investigate complex business problems through a range of data preparation, modeling, analysis and/or visualization techniques to create solutions| Retrieves, analyzes and summarizes business, operations or customer data in order to develop business intelligence, optimize effectiveness and/or predict business outcomes | Identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends or patterns and prepares ongoing reports and data visualizations in order to support business decisions | Typically uses dedicated business intelligence applications and/or cloud services (e.g.,PowerBI, Tableau), but may also leverage the reporting capabilities of existing ERP, CRM and/or database software vendors (e.g., Oracle BI &/or Salesforce) Impact of the Role General Profile Requires conceptual knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures within a job discipline Performs routine assignments using existing procedures Receives instruction, guidance and direction from more senior level roles Entry level to a professional career progression Consistent exercise of discretion & judgment

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree and 0-3 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

  • Provides management and analysis of business data for use in data-driven decision making and organizational efficiency improvement initiatives.
  • Uses statistical methods, modeling, analytical methodologies, and data analysis to develop and deploy tools including dashboards, infographics, reports, and models to inform and support decision-making.
  • Aggregates and performs statistical analysis on business data based on requests from project teams or senior leadership.
  • Integrates data from multiple data sources or functional areas, ensures data accuracy and integrity, and updates data as needed.
  • Writes queries or reports to provide data for various analytical projects.
  • Mines, processes, and analyzes internal and external data using KPIs, business results, industry sources, competitor intelligence, and customer information.
  • Interprets data to identify business trends, conduct root cause analysis of business problems, or suggest areas for process improvement.
  • Develops a good understanding of the business's model, objectives, issues, and challenges by interacting and collaborating with users and stakeholders.
  • Utilizes querying data visualization /Power BI tools, statistical methods, and data modeling to produce reports, data files, and dashboards.
