About The Position

Assist Marketing, Universal Banking, Business Development and other bank service areas to develop business in support of First Western Bank & Trust’s sales and service objectives while adhering to the bank’s culture of excellence in customer service.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management studies, or in a related discipline or two years of relevant experience
  • Prior experience in the field of banking, customer service, or marketing
  • Communication – excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly convey information to diverse audiences
  • Detail Oriented – able to complete assigned work thoroughly and accurately
  • Interpersonal Skills – can communicate and interact with others in a way that promotes mutual respect and trust
  • Problem-Solving – skilled in identifying and resolving complex problems using analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Research – able to locate and gather accurate information from various credible sources

  • Technology - skilled in Microsoft Office (Publisher, Power Point, Word, Excel, Outlook), and social media platforms

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the activities of business development to ensure the delivery of high-quality service to customers.
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
  • Assist Universal Banking with outbound customer calls
  • Proactively increase customer satisfaction and loyalty, through ensuring interactions meet or exceed customer needs
  • Meet with business and personal customers to provide information on banking products
  • Open and manage business and personal accounts including checking, savings, money market, certificates of deposit, and safe deposit accounts
  • Ensure timely response and resolution of customer questions and issues in a timely, professional manner via telephone, email, or in-person
  • Assist Marketing with customer events, etc. as requested
  • Handle a wide variety of customer banking matters accurately and efficiently; includes cashing checks; making checking and savings account deposits and withdrawals; processing credit card, loan and ACH payments; calculating loan payoffs; redeeming savings bonds; processing coin and currency orders; ordering new and issuing temporary checks; selling and issuing gift cards and travel cards; and wire transfers
