The Global Technology Change Governance & Oversight team is seeking a hands-on technology leader with software development experience to drive change adherence and governance across the enterprise. This role blends engineering expertise with strategic oversight, embedding change controls directly into development workflows and ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and risk mitigation practices.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in software development, engineering, or technology delivery roles.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, ITIL practices and enterprise change management frameworks.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional technology teams and influence outcomes in a matrixed environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to technical and executive audiences.
  • Strategic thinker with a bias for action and a passion for operational excellence.

  • Experience working within regulated environments or financial services.
  • Prior experience integrating change controls into development pipelines and release processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead large-scale technology programs, driving risk mitigation and control integration across release coordination and technical delivery, while ensuring alignment with change governance standards.
  • Embed Enterprise Change Policy & Standard into development workflows by integrating controls within CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and production readiness reviews—aligned with SDLC and ITIL practices.
  • Collaborate across matrixed teams—including developers, product owners, QA, and control partners—to embed change management into engineering practices.
  • Translate technical development impacts into business-relevant change narratives for senior leadership and governance forums.
  • Align development priorities with strategic change objectives, balancing speed of delivery with risk and compliance.
  • Analyze development metrics (e.g., velocity, defect rates, deployment success) to identify change-related risks and drive process optimization.
  • Synthesize data from JIRA, Remedy, release notes, and change records into executive-level reporting and dashboards.
  • Proactively identify and resolve change-related obstacles in development cycles, ensuring readiness for production deployment.
  • Communicate complex technical and change scenarios through clear documentation, visuals, and stakeholder-friendly presentations.
  • Demonstrate commitment to excellence by embedding change controls into development practices and ensuring team preparedness.
  • Foster collaboration across development, operations, and governance teams to ensure seamless change execution.
  • Demonstrate empathy and technical insight by understanding the demands placed on development teams during high-pressure change windows, and using that awareness to improve processes, reduce friction, and support successful outcomes.
  • Navigate ambiguous scenarios and resolve issues quickly to meet deadlines and regulatory expectations.
  • Utilize tools such as MS Office, JIRA, Remedy, Adobe, SharePoint, and WebEx to manage and communicate change activities.
  • Demonstrate deep understanding of the Global Technology organization, including architecture standards, development practices, and governance structures.
