About The Position

Ware Junior Senior High School is seeking a successful candidate to teach our Business/Computer Science courses. Strong ability to multitask is necessary. The candidate must be comfortable instructing lower level coursework as well as challenging students with more advanced principles in the Mobile Computer Science Principles course.

Requirements

• Certification in Digital Literacy/Computer Science or Business
• Strong problem solving skills
• Experience with coding in Scratch by MIT, App Inventor, HTML, and Python
• Ability to write in JavaScript and Java is a plus
• Strong skills in Microsoft 365 including proficiency in Word, Excel, and Access
• Strong communication skills
• Strong classroom management and safety practices
• Ability to engage students from a variety of backgrounds as active learners
• Team player
