Job Title Business Banking Senior Program Manager About your role: Fiserv is a global leader in payments and financial technology, enabling clients to deliver secure, scalable banking experiences. The Small Business Banking product team delivers mission-critical solutions that help small businesses manage cash flow, payments, and banking operations. As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will orchestrate strategic programs that drive product launches, integrations, and operational readiness to meet client and market needs. What you’ll do: Lead end-to-end program delivery for multiple concurrent product initiatives, defining scope, schedules, milestones, and success metrics. Create and maintain integrated program plans; identify and mitigate risks, manage dependencies, and forecast resource needs. Coordinate cross-functional teams (product, engineering, compliance, client services, operations) to align on scope, priorities, and delivery expectations. Facilitate governance cadence including steering committee updates, executive reporting, and program-level KPIs. Drive vendor and consultant engagement: define SOWs, manage deliveries, and ensure alignment to timelines and quality standards. Partner with product and engineering to translate product vision into technical roadmap and release plans; lead PI planning and release coordination across scrum teams. Manage regulatory and compliance checkpoints within program timelines to ensure readiness for market launch. Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in leading large-scale, cross-functional technical programs delivering banking, payments, or fintech products (program governance, roadmaps, executive reporting).
  • 12+ years of experience in security and regulatory compliance for financial software — PCI DSS, SOC 2, GLBA, and data privacy controls.
  • 10+ years of experience with cloud platform architecture and operations for SaaS/payment solutions — AWS, Azure, or GCP; containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • 10+ years of experience in payments and banking systems — ACH/NACHA, card processing, ISO 20022/8583, payment rails and treasury integrations.
  • 10+ years of experience leading Agile/SAFe program increments, release planning, and multi‑team delivery using Jira, Confluence, and CI/CD coordination.
  • 8+ years of experience in vendor and consultant management, SOW and contract oversight, resource forecasting, and program financial tracking.
  • 8+ years of equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP, PgMP, or SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) certification.
  • Hands-on experience with APIs, microservices integrations, and enterprise middleware (e.g., MuleSoft, Apigee).
  • Prior experience launching small business banking or payments products at scale.
  • Proven ability in executive communication and stakeholder management across product, risk, and commercial teams.
  • Advanced degree (MS/MBA) in a technical or business discipline.
