About The Position

The Business Banking Sales Manager at Bank OZK is a pivotal role responsible for leading a team of sales professionals dedicated to driving business growth through the acquisition of new business clients and the expansion of existing Business Banking client relationships. This position requires a strong leader who can provide guidance, support, and motivation to the sales team to ensure that Business Banking sales goals are met or exceeded. The ideal candidate will possess strong credit acumen and a proven ability to drive sales and manage relationships effectively, which will be essential in contributing to the overall success of the bank. In this role, the Business Banking Sales Manager will be tasked with developing and implementing strategic sales plans aimed at increasing market share and revenue growth. This includes building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and business partners, setting clear goals and expectations for the team, and regularly monitoring performance to ensure targets are met. The manager will also be responsible for fostering a positive and collaborative team environment, staying updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry best practices, and ensuring excellent customer service and client satisfaction to foster long-term relationships. Additionally, the role involves hiring, onboarding, and educating Business Banking Relationship Managers, as well as exercising discretion and judgment in the performance of all essential job functions.
