The Business Banking Relationship Manager cultivates, builds, and manages relationships with a portfolio of small business clients to build a pipeline of new business and increase BMO’s market share. This role involves applying professional consultative sales and business development practices, identifying opportunities, and referring clients to BMO colleagues. The manager is expected to proactively develop and execute sales strategies, build internal and external networks, and generate appointments to grow business results. The position requires developing and maintaining long-term profitable relationships, expanding wallet share, and providing exceptional customer service by understanding needs and offering financial solutions. It also involves developing solutions, providing advice, monitoring performance, managing databases, and leading change management activities, all while adhering to the Bank's policies and risk management framework. The role focuses primarily on business/group within BMO, may have broader, enterprise-wide focus, and requires exercising judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve complex problems independently.
