About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Banking Relationship Management Manager (LO) in Consumer Banking and Lending, responsible for providing coverage for Business Bankers. This role involves managing and developing a team of business bankers, with a strong focus on customer relationship development, enhancing customer experience, and effective risk management. The manager is tasked with promoting business growth by implementing strategies to increase revenue, which includes onboarding new customers, deepening relationships with existing customers, and retaining current credit or deposit balances. Key aspects of the role also include identifying and recommending opportunities for process improvement and the development of risk controls. The manager will make decisions and resolve issues concerning the allocation of resources, objectives, and operations of their team to meet business goals. Collaboration and consultation with peers, colleagues, and various levels of management are essential. The role also involves working with other managers and department leadership in the hiring, training, development, and performance evaluation of team members. The manager will specifically oversee the allocation of people and financial resources for Small Business Banking Relationship Management and will mentor and guide the talent development of their direct reports, assisting in hiring new talent. This Loan Originator (LO) position requires customer contact, including needs assessment and referring customers interested in dwelling-secured products to a SAFE team member. It involves assisting customers without taking an application or offering/negotiating terms of a dwelling-secured transaction. Individuals in this LO position must meet the Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Business Banking experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 2+ years of leadership experience
  • Meet the Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z (LO)
  • Meet the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification requirements and comply with related Wells Fargo policies. The LO qualification requirements include meeting applicable financial responsibility, character, general financial fitness and criminal background standards. A current credit report will be used to assess your financial responsibility and credit fitness, however, a credit score is not included as part of the evaluation. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening, if necessary

Responsibilities
