The manager is tasked with promoting business growth by implementing strategies to increase revenue, which includes onboarding new customers, deepening relationships with existing customers, and retaining current credit or deposit balances. Key aspects of the role also include identifying and recommending opportunities for process improvement and the development of risk controls. The manager will make decisions and resolve issues concerning the allocation of resources, objectives, and operations of their team to meet business goals. Collaboration and consultation with peers, colleagues, and various levels of management are essential. The role also involves working with other managers and department leadership in the hiring, training, development, and performance evaluation of team members. The manager will specifically oversee the allocation of people and financial resources for Small Business Banking Relationship Management and will mentor and guide the talent development of their direct reports, assisting in hiring new talent. This Loan Originator (LO) position requires customer contact, including needs assessment and referring customers interested in dwelling-secured products to a SAFE team member. It involves assisting customers without taking an application or offering/negotiating terms of a dwelling-secured transaction. Individuals in this LO position must meet the Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z.
