About The Position

The Business Banking Operations - Section Manager 1 manages the daily activities for a functional area in addition to having direct reports. Serves as a subject matter expert for the team and will occasionally work in production as needed. Oversight is available and sweeping decisions would not be made independently in this role.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• 3+ years’ experience with business or commercial lending in a centralized lending environment

Responsibilities

• Ensures Business Banking production of business loans with established Production, SLA & Quality goals, which includes the assignment of work to functional area team members.
• Prepares, maintains and/or monitors reports in compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.
• Act as primary back up for their manager as needed for team huddles & meetings.
• Resolves the more complex working problems.
• Perform or review Quality Reviews for all colleagues on the team.
• Reviews and recommends new methods and procedures to make the area more efficient.
• Tasks as needed to support the line of business and job family.
• Other duties as assigned
