About The Position

The Business Banking Deposit Product and Lending Pricing Director is a leadership role focused on driving the vision, strategy, and execution of product roadmaps for the Regional Bank segment. This position oversees $25 billion in commercial deposit balances and $1.3 billion in loan margin, ensuring the achievement of balance growth, customer growth, margin, and fee income targets. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop new products and manage ongoing performance, while also necessitating frequent travel to Columbus if located elsewhere.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in business banking or product management.
  • Proven track record of success in deposit or lending pricing.
  • Strong analytical capability to translate data into strategic plans.
  • Excellent leadership and strategic thinking skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Experience with product development methodologies such as agile or waterfall.

Responsibilities

  • Establish the business banking deposit product strategy and business lending pricing strategy.
  • Identify and set priorities for new product development and business lending pricing.
  • Lead new product development by identifying customer needs and defining product requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, marketing, and compliance to deliver new products on time and within budget.
  • Manage product profitability through monthly forecasting and performance reviews.
  • Partner with marketing and sales to implement programs and promotions that support growth targets.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive activity to identify risks and opportunities for innovation.
  • Communicate product and pricing strategy to stakeholders and executive management.
  • Directly or indirectly lead a diverse group of professionals across various functions.
