The Business Banking Deposit Product and Lending Pricing Director is a pivotal leadership role within the organization, tasked with shaping the vision and strategy for the Regional Bank segment's substantial commercial deposit balances, which amount to $25 billion, alongside managing $114 million in commercial service charges. This position not only spearheads the deposit initiatives but also oversees business lending pricing, managing a significant loan margin of $1.3 billion. The ideal candidate will be based in Columbus, OH, although other locations may be considered, with the understanding that frequent travel will be necessary for those not located in Columbus. In this role, the director will establish comprehensive strategies for business banking deposit products and business lending pricing, ensuring alignment with the bank's growth targets for balances, customer acquisition, margin enhancement, and fee income. The director will prioritize new product development and modifications, focusing on customer needs and product positioning. This involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including IT, digital, design, marketing, sales, legal, and compliance, to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery of new products that meet or exceed business expectations. Ongoing performance management is crucial, with responsibilities including monthly forecasting, portfolio analysis, and performance reviews across marketing, channel, and sales. The director will work closely with marketing, sales, and digital teams to implement promotional programs and a testing roadmap that supports the bank's growth objectives. Additionally, the role requires monitoring market trends and competitive activities, gathering customer and colleague feedback to identify risks and opportunities for innovation. Collaboration with Regional Banking, Digital, and Marketing Segment Executives is essential to prioritize and implement new initiatives and processes that drive product profitability and achieve mutual goals. The director will communicate product and pricing strategies, priorities, and performance metrics to stakeholders and executive management, while also leading a diverse team of professionals across products, marketing, sales, analytics, and technical domains.
