About The Position

Mastech Digital provides digital and mainstream technology staff as well as Digital Transformation Services for all American Corporations. This is a Contract to Hire position, and the client is looking for someone to start immediately. Duration: 6+ Months Contract to Hire Location: Pittsburgh, PA/Dallas, TX/Strongsville, OH Salary: $65.00-$70.00/Hourly Role: Business Architect Primary Skills: SQL Role Description: The Business Architect must have 5+ years of experience. Function of the Group: Combination of mitigating risk, reducing costs, and generating revenue. Industry Background: Banking is preferred but open to all. Team Dynamic: Data products organization - Lot of technology teams - delivery for data solutions. This team is the governance function across all the teams - smaller subset of the data organization - Focused on standardization of practices and best practices, align with best practice and strategy. Roles and Responsibilities: Primarily design and monitor data product contracts. Make sure that any data solution that the team is delivering meets the KPIs and requirements of the data product. Defining, monitoring, and making sure the team meets goals across all the data product organization. Having a Business Analyst or BSA/Architect background would make a good fit for this role. Combines understanding of technology and business outcomes/values that the team delivers. Must Have Technical Skills: Techno-functional role that requires understanding of data technologies / architecture as well as bank's business strategy. Experience with product management (Including requirements definition, managing product lifecycle) Experience with stakeholder management and excellent communication skills. Experience with defining KPI metrics to measure business outcomes. Must have familiarity with: Leading Data repositories: Big Data Hadoop, Oracle, Teradata, No-SQL Databases like MongoDB, Neo4J, Elastic Stack etc. (not actually be hands on - someone who can understand what it is and can do and what it does) Data technologies like Kafka Streaming, Alation Data Catalog etc. Data concepts like Metamodel governance, Data pipeline orchestration, and Feature Engineering Data architecture Flex Skills/Nice to Have: SQL, PowerBI, Elastic Soft Skills: Stakeholder management Written and verbal communication Product management - pull the product lifecycle, deploying solution, further changes, understanding how that process works and be a good change manager Education/Certifications: Bachelor's Degree Required; No certification Screening Questions: Describe your experience with structuring work sets and dealing with business stakeholders. Requirements

The Business Architect must have 5+ years of experience.
Techno-functional role that requires understanding of data technologies / architecture as well as bank's business strategy.
Experience with product management (Including requirements definition, managing product lifecycle)
Experience with stakeholder management and excellent communication skills.
Experience with defining KPI metrics to measure business outcomes.
