As a Business Architect Sr within PNC's Asset Management Group (AMG) Technology Strategy, Architecture, and Innovation organization, you will be responsible for developing business architectures and strategic roadmaps that enable key outcomes for PNC's Asset Management Group (e.g., wealth management, private bank, investment office, institutional asset management). You will be based either in Pittsburgh, PA or Strongsville, OH or Dallas, TX. or Birmingham, AL. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager's discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Develop business architectures and strategic roadmaps for PNC's Asset Management Group.
  • Interact with senior business and technology leaders, SMEs, and solution architecture team.
  • Bridge the gap of current state business needs with future state objectives.
  • Create architecture deliverables including business capability maps, context diagrams, and roadmaps.
  • Facilitate the construction of business models and work collaboratively with business strategists.
  • Support business and technology innovation that drives the organization's top and bottom lines.
  • Provide consulting to business and technology staff on various topics.
  • Oversee architecture roadmap outcomes, including annual planning alignment and investment decisions.
  • Explore new and emerging technologies and develop strategic viewpoints.

Requirements

  • Strong background in business architecture and working knowledge of solution architecture.
  • Business domain knowledge of the wealth management/private bank space.
  • Ability to analyze and construct domain-wide perspectives for senior stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of various architecture disciplines - Business, Application, Solution, Data, Technology, Security.
  • Ability to create architecture deliverables such as business strategy maps and customer journeys.
  • Demonstrate continual learning and strategic thinking in business and technology domains.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., TOGAF, SAFe, Business Architecture Guild CBA, Lean/Six-Sigma).

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in clarifying business objectives and translating them to a technology strategy.
  • Exposure to and conceptual understanding of technologies such as applications, middleware, APIs.
  • Comfortable using business architecture tools and techniques.
