The hired associate must reside within 35 miles of the following location: Columbus: One Nationwide Plaza, Columbus OH, 43215 The Technical Lead is a hands-on technical leadership role responsible for architecting, building, and modernizing business‑critical solutions, with a primary focus on migrating legacy applications to Microsoft Dataverse and the Power Platform. Key responsibilities include: Designing and developing scalable solutions using JavaScript, HTML/CSS, jQuery (legacy support), RESTful APIs, and backend frameworks (.NET, Node.js). Leading modernization of legacy SharePoint and front‑end solutions into Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse. Defining solution architectures, governance, and development standards for platform and custom solutions. Providing technical leadership and mentoring to junior developers through code reviews, training, and enablement. Evaluating and implementing emerging technologies to improve platform performance, reliability, and business outcomes. Role Outcomes (Technical Focus): Efficient project delivery through modern frameworks and strong engineering practices. Successful migration of legacy JavaScript/SharePoint solutions to Power Platform/Dataverse with minimal disruption. Improved platform performance and innovation through thoughtful adoption of new technologies. Talent Development via consistent mentoring and skill development of junior developers.

Requirements

  • JavaScript, HTML/CSS, jQuery (legacy support)
  • RESTful APIs
  • Familiarity with .NET and Node.js
  • Power Platform, Dataverse & SharePoint
  • Hands‑on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI
  • Strong understanding of Dataverse schema and SharePoint integration
  • Knowledge of governance and best practices for low‑code platforms
  • Proven experience mentoring developers and leading technical delivery
  • Experience architecting and governing modernization of legacy SharePoint/JavaScript solutions into Power Platform/Dataverse, maintaining business continuity throughout
