About The Position
The position establishes and maintains a consultative partnership with business areas and user clients, providing operational functional knowledge to support the development of new or improved capabilities. This includes translating business requirements into functional specifications and identifying, defining, and developing solutions to application and system problems. The role serves as a primary contact and resource, representing and interpreting client needs to technical staff, ensuring that solutions meet overall client business needs and expectations. A thorough understanding of business operations and functional areas is required to evaluate and analyze business workflows and recommend alternative approaches for process improvement. Strong communication and facilitation skills are essential for interfacing with varied interests and audiences, along with solid analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively develop solutions to application and process issues. Incumbents typically function as a 'super-user' and are expected to work independently while being viewed as trusted resources to clients and team members. The role involves working with enterprise, regional, or local level applications that may be deployed across multiple ministries, organizations, and geographic locations.
