About The Position

As a Non-Technical Intern, you will engage in a comprehensive summer internship program designed to provide hands-on experience in a dynamic aerospace and defense environment. You will work alongside industry experts, participate in real-world projects, and gain valuable insights into business operations. This internship offers a unique opportunity for professional growth through mentoring, cross-functional workshops, and direct involvement in company projects. As SNC's corporate team, we provide the company and its business areas with strategic direction and business support spanning executive management, finance and accounting, operations, human resources, legal, IT, information security, facilities, marketing, and communications.

Requirements

  • Must be a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in college or technical school, with at least 6 months until graduation after end of internship.
  • Must have been SNC Summer 2025 intern.
  • Currently enrolled in a university or college program pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment.
  • Strong organization skills and work ethic; detail oriented.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior internship or work experience in a related field.
  • Familiarity with the Aerospace and Defense industry.
  • Basic knowledge of data analysis tools and software.
  • Microsoft Access skills.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in actual projects and contribute to team objectives by completing assigned tasks.
  • Receive guidance and mentorship from experienced professionals in your field.
  • Assist in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to support business decisions.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation and reports as required.
  • Attend planning meetings to understand project requirements and team goals.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and support the implementation of best practices.
  • Participate in workshops designed to provide a deeper understanding of the business and company culture.
  • Effectively communicate ideas, progress, and findings to team members and leadership.
