About The Position

The Business Analytics position at Kelly Services involves supporting the R&D Finance team by applying financial planning and accounting principles to budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning for clinical trials and pharmaceutical development. The role requires proficiency in MS Excel and SAP for financial analysis, as well as the ability to develop metrics and perform KPI analysis to aid in resource allocation and forecasting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in clinical development and/or clinical supplies.
• Experience with clinical trials.
• Prior knowledge in supply chain, logistics, or operations.
• Detail-oriented with proven organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and interact with various professional levels.
• Strong interpersonal skills and professional values for teamwork.
• APICs certification or Supply Chain knowledge (JDE, SAP, etc.) is preferred.
• Familiarity with MS Access is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain MS Excel models using pivot tables for budget forecasts.
• Utilize SAP for financial analysis of R&D programs and trial costs.
• Prepare and submit the annual Profit Plan.
• Develop metrics via Excel models for resource allocation analysis.
• Perform KPI analysis and present results to the global clinical supplies management team.
• Manage blanket purchase orders and ensure compliance with service agreements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance and streamline processes.
• Manage high-volume transactional duties efficiently.
• Make cost-effective purchasing decisions while maintaining inventory levels.
• Utilize advanced software tools like Power BI, Power Automate, and Qliksense.
