About The Position

PHINIA is seeking a Sales Administration and Business Planning Intern in Auburn Hills, MI to support sales operations, customer data management, reporting, and cross‑functional projects while gaining hands-on experience with enterprise systems, data analysis, and business planning initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Support day‑to‑day Sales Administration activities, including customer master maintenance (approvals, ship‑to setup), customer credit processing, and invoice processing backup.
  • Assist with sales discretionary payments and other transactional sales operations tasks to help reduce manual workload across the team.
  • Maintain and update daily sales and financial reporting, including catch‑up and historical data pulls within SAP S/4HANA.
  • Provide support during periods of organizational and system transition, including sales agency changes, warehouse moves, and SAP conversion activities.
  • Participate in testing and validation of system and automation initiatives, including AI‑based rebate solutions and S/4HANA enhancements.
  • Assist in validating and preparing dead net and rebate data for downstream pricing and reporting tools (e.g., PriceFX).
  • Support process documentation and mapping for current and future North America sales administration processes.
  • Contribute to reporting and analysis efforts, including RU137 reporting and other ad hoc requests.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Sales, Finance, and Operations teams to support continuous process improvement and operational efficiency.
