As a Business Analytics Lead within PNC's Regulatory Reporting organization, you can be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Denver, Co. Position Overview: This position sits within the Finance Regulatory Reporting organization and will play a critical role during an interim period focused on acquisition integration. The primary emphasis during this phase will be on data and system integration activities required to onboard acquired entities into PNC’s regulatory reporting environment. Over time, the role will evolve to support broader regulatory reporting initiatives, including report automation, data analysis, and other strategic projects within the Regulatory Reporting function. The ideal candidate is hands-on, technically skilled, and comfortable working across data, systems, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong hands-on experience with SQL for data querying, analysis, and reconciliation.
  • Working knowledge of Python for data analysis, automation, or testing activities.
  • Experience performing data validation, reconciliations, and QA testing in a financial or data-intensive environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively across business, data, and technology teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with bank regulatory reporting (e.g., Call Reports, FR Y-9C, 14M/Q, or similar).
  • Familiarity with regulatory reporting systems, data warehouses, or source-to-target data mappings.
  • Experience supporting system conversions, acquisitions, or large-scale data migrations.
  • Knowledge of internal controls, data quality frameworks, or regulatory reporting governance.

Responsibilities

  • Support data and system integration efforts related to bank acquisitions, ensuring accurate and complete migration of data into PNC source systems.
  • Perform hands-on testing of migrated data to validate completeness, accuracy, and alignment with regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Analyze data flows from source systems through downstream regulatory reporting processes to ensure data is properly mapped and transformed.
  • Conduct data analysis, reconciliations, and variance investigations to identify and resolve data quality or integration issues.
  • Partner with technology, data, and regulatory reporting teams to support system updates, fixes, and enhancements required for successful integration.
  • Execute and document QA testing to confirm regulatory reporting readiness post-migration.
  • Contribute to regulatory reporting automation initiatives, including enhancements to data pipelines, controls, and reporting processes.
  • Perform ad hoc and recurring data analysis in support of regulatory reporting, quality assurance, and control activities.
  • Support other regulatory reporting–related projects, including process improvements, system enhancements, and remediation efforts.
  • Assist with documentation related to data lineage, controls, and regulatory reporting processes, as needed.
  • Collaborate with regulatory reporting SMEs to interpret reporting requirements and translate them into data and system needs.
