About The Position

This internship position is designed for students majoring in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or Analytics, preferably in their junior or senior year. The internship is scheduled for Spring 2026 and requires a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week. Interns will gain hands-on experience in leveraging and consolidating data from various systems, analyzing and diagnosing data trends, and learning to use reporting tools effectively. The role emphasizes understanding operational dynamics within a diversified manufacturing organization and identifying opportunities to create value through actionable data.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or Analytics in good standing.
• Knowledge of basic Power BI Analytics.
• Must continue enrollment in degree program upon completion of the internship.
• SQL & Python skills are a plus.
• Previous ERP knowledge and navigational ability is a plus.
• Must be a U.S. person as defined by ITAR regulations.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with data integration and data flows among various systems.
• Familiarity with Azure development processes.

Responsibilities

• Learn operational dynamics of a constantly evolving, diversified manufacturing organization.
• Learn how different systems collaborate and help improve consolidation to generate a homogeneous data ecosystem.
• Learn system usage and process workflows and diagram potential improvements.
• Discover data integration and learn data flows among ERP’s, CRM’s, MES’s, PLM’s.
• Develop functional specification requirements.
• Understand Azure development process.
• Convert existing Excel reports to Power BI.
• Identify how different business units standardize data across various systems and industries.
• Manage master data effectively.
• Identify other reporting opportunities in underreported areas.
• Identify bad data or missing data.
• Help resolve manual reporting and provide integration suggestions to lower manual intervention.
• Create centralized dashboards in Power BI.
• Present solutions for manual processes.
• Create Azure pipelines.
• Participate in performance review and feedback sessions.
• Follow all ITT safety policies and procedures, participate in workplace inspections, safety training, and in the development of job safety analyses.
