As a theme park built around a working movie studio, we are all about lights, camera, and action! Being part of our team means having fun at work, creating memorable moments for guests, and bringing the magic of Hollywood to life. Our Universal Studios Hollywood (USH) Internship Program gives you more than a glimpse behind-the-scenes of a working theme park – here you can get the chance to make a real impact on our business. As a USH intern, you will have the opportunity to build meaningful connections with leaders, attend professional development workshops, and learn from industry experts – all while gaining real-world experience. Your internship begins with your key project assignment and concludes with a final presentation of your results to members of Senior Leadership. We love those who are curious, driven, and passionate about the future of the themed entertainment industry. Summer 2026 Semester System Program Dates: June 1, 2026 – August 7, 2026 Quarter System Program Dates: June 15, 2026 – August 21, 2026 Internship applications will close on Friday, December 19th at 11:55 PM PT. Attach a resume that outlines your education (include anticipated graduation month and year), experience, and accomplishments. Upload a transcript – unofficial transcripts are acceptable – that confirms your status as an actively enrolled student in a degree-granting program. As a Business Analytics and Industrial Engineering (BAIE) Intern, you will support the BAIE team in identifying and implementing improvements within Universal Studios Hollywood’s food and beverage operations. This role focuses on hands-on data collection, time studies, and analysis to help enhance efficiency, optimize labor, and improve guest service performance across park and CityWalk venues. In addition to Food & Beverage projects, you may also have opportunities to assist with initiatives that support other operational areas, providing a broader understanding of how analytics drive performance across the business. Working closely with BAIE team members, you’ll gain practical experience applying industrial engineering principles to real-world challenges and contribute directly to data-driven decisions that impact daily operations.
