About The Position

CRISP Shared Services, Inc. is seeking a mid-level Business Analyst to join the CRISP Insights team. This role involves consolidating various streams of healthcare data to produce business-ready datasets for analytics and reporting, supporting operational use cases for both internal and external stakeholders. The position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring that deliverables meet specified requirements.

Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to understand complex business use cases and translate requirements into detailed specifications.
• Ability to work with many different stakeholders and subject matter experts from different backgrounds.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple job duties, including personal time management and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and QA/testing processes.

Nice To Haves

• Intermediate experience with Jira and Excel.
• Foundational experience with SQL.
• Experience in healthcare IT or public health.

Responsibilities

• Define and document business requirements and produce technical specifications for deliverables.
• Communicate clear written specifications to data engineers.
• Work with different stakeholders and subject matter experts from various backgrounds (clinical, business, technical, research).
• Assist in coordination of the Agile/Scrum process, moving to a leadership role.
• Assist data engineers with testing and QA of deliverables to ensure alignment with requirements.
• Help the team solve difficult problems by learning from and sharing with team members.
• Manage priorities and requests in an organized manner.
• Develop business knowledge of Insights data and workflows, understanding relationships between data sets.
• Maintain documentation of data sources, use cases, and output specifications.
