About The Position
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will work with business and data scientists to translate given business problems into analytical solutions with defined outcomes. Your role will involve analyzing data in depth using SQL and other exploratory tools across various platforms such as Bigdata, Oracle, SQL Server, and others. You will convert business requirements into functional requirements, providing detailed transformation rules for the ETL team. This is a very technical hands-on role that requires close collaboration with the ETL and data science teams to review requirements and data integrations. You will need to understand the business requirements and their impact on use cases, write validation scripts to ensure data integrity, and work with IT and business customers to develop and design requirements for technical design. Additionally, you will capture metadata, data lineage, reference data management, and data quality rules as part of data governance, while driving the delivery of projects with a globally distributed team.
