Arch Reinsurance is seeking a Data Governance and Metadata Analyst with a strong business analysis and insurance background to join our dynamic Data Strategy team—a group dedicated to transforming how data is managed and leveraged across the organization. Work Location This is a hybrid role based in Farmington, CT, with in-office collaboration every Wednesday. For exceptional candidates, we are also open to a fully remote arrangement anywhere in the U.S., with a strong preference for those located on the East Coast. What You’ll Do As a key member of the Data Strategy team, you will: Operationalize Data Governance: Help bring our Data Governance and Data Management framework to life by embedding best practices into project workflows and everyday work. Consult on Projects: Partner with cross-functional project teams to ensure alignment with enterprise data governance standards. Support Governance Technologies: Assist in the implementation and maintenance of platforms such as: Data Catalog (e.g., Collibra, Alation) Master/Reference Data Management (MDM/RDM) Data Quality tools Drive Metadata Excellence: Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain accurate and accessible metadata across systems. Enable Reference Data Standardization: Provide data and business analysis support to harmonize reference data across the enterprise.
