About The Position

As a Business Analyst within the TD Securities Global Asset Servicing team, you will manage a portfolio of initiatives focused on improving efficiency and strengthening controls. The role requires an in depth understanding of business processes across Corporate Actions, Tax and Payments processing where you'll assess current state and share insights and recommendations to achieve straight-through processing while developing preventative and detective controls and utilize sound risk management practices to mitigate errors often associated with manual processes.

Requirements

  • Ability to quickly gain broad knowledge of TD Securities and TD Global Markets organizational structure.
  • Fundamental understanding of business analysis practices and basic project management disciplines.

  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools, data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Drive strategic initiatives across Global Asset Servicing including corporate actions, tax and payment processing.
  • Design and implement workflow to ensure efficient handling and sound risk management practices.
  • Ensure business practices are aligned with departmental procedures.
  • Interact and communicate with key stakeholders to uplift manual processes across
  • Coordinate with IT on any system and/or workflow enhancements needed to ensure efficient processing and effective controls.
  • Partner with technology and/or project teams to perform user acceptance testing (UAT) for any system enhancements or workflow configuration changes prior to production release.
  • Develop KPI's and management level reporting to define and measure service quality and provide transparency.
  • Develop monitoring to supervise team activities, ensure timely processing, service level adherence and adoption of best practices.
  • Deliver training and foster employee development to meet performance goals and achieve operational excellence.
