About The Position

Local candidates ONLY. Candidates must be located in Michigan within 90 minutes of Lansing, MI at time of application Key Responsibilities Ensure project deliverables align with organizational strategic objectives. Review and validate project scope, estimates, and timelines to support overall project planning and execution methodologies. Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders using both Agile and Waterfall approaches; identify impacted business processes and recommend optimal solutions. Lead cross -functional reviews with technical teams, security stakeholders, and other internal groups to ensure compliance with organizational standards and best practices. Participate in solution design discussions and contribute to architectural assessments. Develop training materials and deliver end -user or stakeholder training as needed. Review and approve system integration, performance, and user acceptance testing strategies. Validate test data, analyze results, and ensure quality standards are met. Distinguish between defects and enhancement requests; initiate change control processes as needed. Track, manage, and support resolution of system defects and issues. Review project documentation for completeness and alignment with delivery standards. Act as a liaison between internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders. Maintain clear communication across teams regarding project status, risks, and key metrics. Document and analyze current and future -state business processes. Create system and data flow diagrams to support technical documentation and procurement efforts. Collaborate with Product Owners to define user stories and acceptance criteria using structured formats (e.g., BDD/Gherkin). Support backlog prioritization based on business value, risk, and dependencies. Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and demos. Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and traceability matrices. Perform functional and regression testing and support user acceptance testing efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
• Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable user stories.
• Experience working with vendor -supported or third -party solutions.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Demonstrated problem -solving and analytical capabilities.

Nice To Haves

• 4+ years of experience in a Business Analyst or similar role.
• 4+ years of experience working in Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
• Experience with work management tools such as Azure DevOps or similar platforms.
• Proficiency with Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Experience working with relational databases such as Oracle or SQL Server.
