About The Position

ABOUT THE ROLE: The Business Analyst role requires dedication, detailed work, and integrity. The right person would need to be adept in the business analysis tools and have solid experience in business processes in these key industries: finance, manufacturing, and IT.

Requirements

  • have 5+ years experience in Business Analysis field
  • have 3+ years experience in the Information Technology, Manufacturing, or Finance industry
  • have a bachelor's degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Management Information Systems or relevant field required
  • have the ability to analyze, map, and document business processes
  • be knowledgeable in business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods
  • have a proven experience in business analysis tools
  • have the ability to facilitate testing/product performance recording
  • have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • have mastery of presentation applications and spreadsheets
  • have a fully functional and up-to-date computer with which to perform duties
  • be willing to install next generation end point protection on the computer
  • be a current resident of the Philippines and can legally perform work from there
  • be willing to work within US Pacific timezone (8am - 5pm PST, 12AM - 9AM Manila time) or during client hours as required
  • be willing to undergo a 90-days probationary period upon initial hire
  • be open to a short-term project-based, part time contract opportunity

Nice To Haves

  • ERP systems experience (NetSuite, SAP, SAP Business One, Acumatica, MS Dynamics 365, etc..)
  • experience in consultancy business
  • exposure to Agile projects

Responsibilities

  • establish and document business processes
  • perform requirement elicitation through different channels of discovery
  • assist in requirement planning and management
  • perform requirement analysis and documentation
  • identify business process gaps and align solutions to project goals
  • support the project team using business analysis tools
  • establish communication services across stakeholders
  • detail Scrum stories in standard format
  • participate in daily stand-ups and capture information
  • assist in grooming/sizing of stories
  • facilitate testing/product performance recording
  • detail product reviews and releases
  • obtain clear knowledge of business processes to effectively support the team
  • complete project deliverables with quality and in a timely manner
  • organize and manage project deliverables as may be required by the project team
  • maintain the storage and retrieval of all project communications data and business metrics, as applicable
  • gather information to establish the current business processes of the client to establish current state and determine painpoints and improvements.
  • perform other adhoc tasks related to the role
