About The Position

ASSYST is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support our client in Austin, TX and this is a Hybrid position on Contract Basis. The Business Analyst will review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs, ensuring technology solutions align with overall business strategies. The role involves requirements gathering, business process analysis, data analysis, and collaboration with business stakeholders and IT teams to deliver effective solutions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of Business Analyst experience reviewing and analyzing business systems and user needs.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies and business analysis practices.
• Experience with requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
• Experience in data analysis and interpreting raw data.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with case management systems.
• Experience using Jira or similar project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business systems, processes, and user requirements to identify improvement opportunities.
• Gather and document functional and technical requirements.
• Perform business process mapping and support business process reengineering initiatives.
• Conduct data analysis and prepare solution options including cost/benefit, ROI, and risk analysis.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams.
• Participate in SDLC activities including design reviews, system testing, and UAT.
• Manage multiple assignments while maintaining accuracy and meeting project timelines.
