Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher-level degree) (Degree substitution allowable per PWS requirements)
  • Minimum 5 years experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business/functional requirements
  • Minimum 5 years professional writing experience
  • Minimum 5 years DoD program experience
  • Minimum 5 years supporting DoD software development projects/programs
  • Minimum 5 years developing processes, tools, templates, and metrics
  • Minimum 5 years Six Sigma/DMAIC experience
  • 1-2 years experience with ServiceNow
  • Active DoD SECRET clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship required

Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, validate, and document business and functional requirements.
  • Translate mission needs into structured requirement artifacts.
  • Develop user stories, process maps, workflow diagrams, and requirements documentation.
  • Support DoD software development programs and initiatives.
  • Conduct gap analysis and recommend solutions.
  • Apply Six Sigma DMAIC methodology (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control).
  • Develop and refine business processes, tools, templates, and metrics.
  • Identify redundancies, inefficiencies, and risk areas.
  • Support continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Produce professional documentation including:
  • SOPs
  • Policies and procedures
  • Training materials
  • Instructional guides
  • Executive summaries
  • Visual dashboards and reporting artifacts
  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Develop clear, concise documentation tailored to executive and operational audiences.
  • Support business intelligence analysis and performance metric tracking.
  • Develop dashboards and visual representations of data.
  • Assist with ServiceNow configuration documentation and workflow alignment.
  • Contribute to Weekly Status Reports and deliverable tracking.
  • Maintain document repositories.
  • Ensure compliance with DoD security, documentation, and quality standards.
