About The Position

Geode Capital Management, LLC is seeking a highly motivated individual who is passionate about investment and engineering. As Business Analyst , you will become an essential part of our Technology group and will have the opportunity to learn and facilitate the success of our business. This role is on the Equity Portfolio Management squad with the responsibility of delivering modern technology solutions that help add efficiency to our business workflows. This is a hybrid work environment opportunity located in Boston, MA with a weekly in office schedule of Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and remote work availability on Mondays and Fridays.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in financial asset management and technology, ideally working with: Equity Index Portfolio Management Trading Compliance
• Proven experience working closely with multidisciplinary teams, including seasoned engineers, to deliver exceptional products and solutions.
• Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills. Convey complex product details effortlessly to diverse audiences, fostering clarity and understanding.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira and Git, as well as experience in SQL and Data analysis, is highly preferred.
• Display a keen eye for detail, strategically applying it where necessary to ensure precision and accuracy in all endeavors.
• Embrace a critical thinking mindset, unafraid to pose questions and explore uncertain answers, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
• Demonstrate proactive problem-solving abilities, capable of independently identifying and resolving challenges. Share solutions and insights collaboratively to benefit the team.

Nice To Haves

• Work directly with end users to understand workflows and needs

Responsibilities

• Act as a skilled liaison between engineering teams and business stakeholders to extract, gather, analyze, document, communicate, and validate requirements to bridge the gap between technical feasibility and business objectives.
• Translate your insights and analysis into consumable, engineering-focused documentation to emphasize the 'why' and 'what,' ensuring that the captured information is oriented towards delivering maximum business value.
• Understand our tools and the best ways to customize them to support our risk-focused business process workflows and the effectiveness and efficiency gains.
• Assist the squad by following agile development processes, best practices by writing and grooming software development tickets.
