About The Position

Infosys is seeking a Business Analyst. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Requirements

  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Provo, UT or be willing to relocate.
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
  • At least 4 years of overall IT experience.
  • Experience in defining and documenting customer business functions and processes.
  • Experience in consulting with functional unit management and personnel.
  • Experience in acting as a liaison between end-users and technical teams.
  • Experience in analyzing the feasibility of new systems and enhancements.
  • Experience in tracking and documenting changes for specifications.
  • Experience in identifying opportunities for improving business processes.
  • Experience in planning and conducting business process reengineering projects.
  • Experience in researching and preparing statistical reports.
  • Experience in conducting change impact analysis.
  • Experience in participating in user acceptance testing.

Responsibilities

  • Interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Create high level design artifacts.

  • Lead validation for all types of testing.
  • Support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty.
  • Define and document customer business functions and processes.
  • Consult with functional unit management and personnel to identify, define and document business needs and objectives.
  • Act as a liaison between departmental end-users, technical analysts, and other organizations.
  • Analyze the feasibility of new systems and enhancements to existing systems.
  • Track and document changes for functional and business specifications.
  • Identify opportunities for improving business processes through information systems.
  • Plan, organize and conduct business process reengineering/improvement projects.
  • Research and prepare statistical reports using data from court computer systems.
  • Conduct change impact analysis to assess potential implications of changes.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing and testing of new system functionality.
  • Provide technical assistance in training, mentoring, and coaching staff.
  • Develop training curriculum and conduct formal training sessions.
