We are excited to bring on a Business Analyst to support enhancements across our Sales, Administration, and Director Surrounds value stream for Retirement Plan Services (RPS). This new full-time remote position has been created in response to an organizational focus on driving efficiency, reducing expenses, and enhancing the customer experience through the modernization of our administrative technology. In this role, you will partner closely with the product manager for the Sales, Administration, and Director Surrounds value stream, as well as collaborate with peers across Product, Operations, Data, and IT to define, shape, and document enhancements to existing capabilities and the development of new capabilities. As a Business Analyst, you will work with the product manager and business stakeholders to translate the go-forward vision into requirements and user stories. You will leverage your knowledge of the product and business processes to help define acceptance criteria on user stories, performing additional research and analysis when needed to ensure that user stories and acceptance criteria appropriately reflect business processes. You will also complete business acceptance testing based on defined acceptance criteria as needed, and develop requirements/user stories through gathering supporting data such as current and future state process maps/flows, data, and vendor requirements. In addition, you will represent business and customer needs with third-party vendors and the development team to translate requirements and partner on solution alternatives. You will support the team in planning activities, ongoing maintenance activities, testing, releases, and production validation. Collaborating with business stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of regulatory fund changes will also be a key part of your role. You will accept stories as 'done' based on pre-defined acceptance criteria, ensuring release quality, and champion the evolution of our administrative processes by positively influencing and supporting change management and departmental or enterprise initiatives. Furthermore, you will serve as a resource to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on more complex assignments/projects, proactively identifying and recommending process improvements that significantly reduce workloads and/or maintain or improve quality.
