About The Position

The position requires a sound understanding of Banking Regulations like Basel and extensive experience in SQL or similar tools for data analysis. The candidate will manage day-to-day ad-hoc business requests for information and analysis, providing leadership to Business Analysts and ensuring accountability for all deliverables. Responsibilities include capturing and elaborating business requirements, documenting process/data flows, and ensuring the development team meets business requirements while adhering to SCRUM timelines. The role also involves preparing user manuals and conducting business user training sessions on products.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 to 9 years of experience in the Banking Domain, with wholesale banking product knowledge preferred.
  • Proficiency in Data Model design with respect to conceptual, logical, and physical models.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical ideas clearly.
  • Ability to understand business problems and translate them into sustainable data model designs.
  • Excellent presentation, documentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Experience working closely with developers and testers.

Responsibilities

  • Providing thought leadership on solutions and collaborating across team and functional lines.
  • Driving operational efficiency and effectiveness for processes and projects under area of responsibility.
  • Creating strong blending data capabilities within the team.
  • Taking ownership for all delivery within the function or processes assigned.
  • Preparing and/or contributing to regular updates for various committees and governance forums.
  • Leading and delivering data analytics for BIA of all change initiatives impacting supported functions.
  • Leading engagement with multiple change/project teams and internal stakeholders.
  • Delivering comprehensive impact analysis covering short and long-term impacts.
  • Disseminating knowledge on existing and ongoing changes in the Regulatory Reporting area.
  • Working towards continuous improvement to identify and implement opportunities to decrease process turnaround time.
  • Upholding high standards of excellence, ethics, and stakeholder partnership.
  • Developing a high-quality performance team through effective hiring practices and training.
  • Providing effective supervision, team structure, and capacity planning.
  • Monitoring key entity or industry-wide events and developments.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to regulatory requirements and compliance with internal and external policies.
