About The Position

The Business Analyst position at Energy Transfer focuses on supporting the Business Systems team in managing and enhancing the SAP footprint within the organization. The role involves acting as a trusted advisor to business units, facilitating business initiatives, and ensuring effective communication between IT and business stakeholders. The analyst will be responsible for delivering support services, leading projects, and developing documentation to aid in user acceptance testing and training.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related fields.
• 2-5 years of relevant work experience.
• Hands-on SAP BPC experience in business process design and requirement gathering.
• Configuration knowledge in Business Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, and Consolidation and Reporting.
• Experience with reporting tools such as SAP Analysis for Office and SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Proficiency in writing business requirement documents and functional specifications.
• Broad understanding of SAP S4, including frequently used tables and transaction codes.
• Excellent business analysis, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lead initiatives with minimal supervision.
• Extensive interface experience with 3rd party systems and SAP bolt-ons.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong relationship management skills.
• Experience with MS Office tools, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Microsoft Project.
• Experience with quality assurance and automated testing tools such as HP ALM, Tricentis, and Tosca.

Nice To Haves

• Experience using tools such as Winshuttle to create data load scripts and queries.
• IS Oil experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver support services and facilitate business initiatives that support enterprise applications.
• Act as a trusted advisor to help the business make informed decisions by presenting relevant system solution alternatives.
• Evaluate business and system impact of proposed changes.
• Work with functional teams, technical teams, and business users to resolve issues and triage them to appropriate teams.
• Liaison confidently with business users and management.
• Partner with multiple business units in a service provider environment of continuous change.
• Develop documentation such as business requirement documents, UAT test cases, training, and end user guides.
• Coordinate, facilitate, and perform User Acceptance Testing on behalf of the business.
• Lead projects by creating project plans, timelines, and overall scope documents.
