About The Position

Under the direction of the Production Planning Manager, the Plan to Make Business Analyst is accountable for standardization and implementation of business processes of manufacturing work order systems in all Post Consumer Brands plant locations. The incumbent places a focus on data quality assessment and improvement within the business and embodies responsibility for quality assurance of system functionality. This position is part of Post Consumer Brands governance efforts implemented to ensure a direct and ongoing focus on achieving and maintaining high quality data within our manufacturing processes. Primary responsibilities include activities for standards assessment, continuous improvement and ongoing maintenance of critical manufacturing system assets. A key deliverable is to create a super user network that will drive standardization in use in each plant location.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology or related field is required
  • Experience with Integrated systems is required with previous involvement in digital transformation preferred
  • Functional manufacturing systems knowledge
  • Minimum 3+ years of manufacturing, technology or combined related experience, with a preference in food processing/packaging
  • Strong knowledge of integrated systems, processes and continuous improvement tools and techniques
  • Able to build relationships and inspire others
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement with data management emphasis

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate as a strategic business partner with all manufacturing sites and cross functional partners to coordinate activities that quantify and articulate the business impact of data quality issues. Work within and beyond immediate area to implement system improvement approaches.
  • Establish a super user network within each plant location. The super users identified will help test, train and roll out changes in system and process within their respective plant locations.
  • Create and maintain appropriate standard training documentation to be used by super users. Assist in providing training at plant locations.
  • Work as Lead for test cases to approve for production roll out through the super user network.
  • Support process development partnering with the Process Excellence team in Integrations. Provide identification of training and hyper care needs.
  • Identify system constraints limiting performance and seek out new and different solutions, leveraging expertise across the company to support.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing system problems, assist in root cause analysis.
  • Monitor and influence changes to business processes that will result in process improvement of data quality tools.
  • Identify data quality metrics and execute data quality audits. Establish key metrics and target goals for manufacturing systems quality improvement that measure and communicate performance.
  • Actively participate in the deployment of applications and data integration processes brought through acquisition or technology updates to ensure high-quality standards and controls are implemented.
  • Support plants as a backup for coverage as needed across the super user network.
