About The Position

Job Description: Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to payments processing systems. Work on ISO 20022 message analysis, mapping, and validation for high-value and cross-border payments. Support Fedwire and ACH payment flows, including clearing, settlement, reconciliation, and exception handling. Collaborate with technology teams on system enhancements, integrations, and regulatory changes. Create business requirement documents (BRD), functional requirement documents (FRD), user stories, and process flows. Participate in UAT planning, test case review, and defect resolution Liaise with stakeholders including operations, compliance, risk, and IT teams Ensure solutions comply with banking regulations, controls, and audit requirements

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Business Analyst in the payments domain.
  • Strong experience with ISO 20022 (high-value and cross-border payments).
  • Proven experience working with Fedwire and ACH payment systems.
  • Solid understanding of payment lifecycle, clearing, settlement, and reconciliation.
  • Experience working in banking or financial services environments.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.
  • Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery models.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to SWIFT MT/MX messaging.
  • Experience with large-scale pavment modernization or ISO 20022 migration programs.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks in banking.
  • Experience working with core banking or payment platforms.
  • Prior experience in government or regulated financial institutions.
